Washington, D.C. — The Association of Military Banks of America (AMBA) today announced several significant staff transitions and the introduction of a strengthened organizational structure designed to advance its mission to promote strong and innovative military banking. These changes reflect AMBA’s ongoing commitment to expanding its advocacy, enhancing member value, and elevating its impact across the military and financial services communities.

Departures and Transitions

AMBA’s Chief Operating Officer, Andia Dinesen, will be departing the organization in December to pursue a new professional opportunity. For more than 12 years, Andia has played a pivotal role in strengthening AMBA’s operational performance, communications, advocacy initiatives, and member engagement. Her leadership and dedication have made a lasting contribution to AMBA and the broader military banking community.

For two decades, Christiane has provided steadfast service and exceptional support to AMBA’s administrative operations and membership programs. Her institutional knowledge and commitment have been foundational to AMBA’s success and close out a remarkable career of support to the organization.

New Organizational Structure and Leadership Appointments

As AMBA prepares for the next phase of growth, the Association has implemented a new staffing structure that introduces two senior leadership roles and expands its operational capacity. AMBA transitions to a model that prioritizes strategy, policy, member engagement, and sustainable growth.

Vice President for Operations and Member Engagement

AMBA announces the appointment of Emma Parsons, who joined the organization on November 17, 2025, as the new Vice President for Operations and Member Engagement. Emma is a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel and former Army Banking Officer with extensive experience in organizational operations, portfolio and membership management, and communications. She brings a passion for engagement with AMBA member banks that serve our military community.

Vice President for Strategy, Policy, and Growth

Marty brings extensive experience in leadership, policy, business development, and stakeholder engagement. In this capacity, he will support AMBA’s long-term vision, lead advocacy efforts, and drive partnership and revenue diversification initiatives.
