AMBA has several programs and partnerships to help ensure the military, veteran, and military communities have access to the financial resources they need.
Scholarships
AMBA provides donations to support two scholarships in the military and veteran community. The Military Officer's Association of America and the Graduate School of Banking – University of Wisconsin Madison administer these scholarships.
Veterans Benefits Banking Program (VBBP)
VBBP provides all Veterans a safe, reliable, and inexpensive way to receive and manage VA monetary benefits by depositing funds directly into new or existing bank accounts offered by participating banks and credit unions
Advocacy & Collaboration
AMBA advocates for specific military and veteran family issues.
AMBA also collaborates with partners and other organizations on special initiatives and issues. AMBA’s advocacy and collaboration could not be achieved without our partnerships with many non-profit and government agencies.

Military banking is defined, not only by its focus on military members and veterans as customers but also by the unique legal regime that governs it.
To ensure that financial institutions treat active military personnel and their families fairly, Congress enacted the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) and Military Lending Act (MLA).
