Jay Long is co-founder and COO of Parlay, an AI-native fintech building the Loan Intelligence System (LIS) — the intake, eligibility, and product-matching layer that sits upstream of the loan origination systems banks already run. Parlay turns the front end of SMB and SBA lending into structured, decision-ready data and reaches lenders through partnerships with teams including Mastercard.
He came to the problem from a career spent unlocking trapped capacity inside institutions built to resist it. As an Army officer, Jay has served with the U.S. Special Operations Command and Headquarters, Department of the Army; he deployed to Afghanistan and served with the United Nations Command along the Korean DMZ. He founded EaGLE, a career accelerator for public sector leaders, and advises numerous military education institutions on emerging technology.
